DISARM HATE, ARM LOVE

A MARION COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT PROJECT

DISARM HATE, ARM LOVE

Art Show & Competition

presented by MCPHD

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Marion County Health Department is hosting a second art contest for youth to express what “Disarm Hate, Arm Love” means to them, as part of its efforts to reduce gun violence among young people.

The contest is hosted at the monthly Marion County Youth Gun Violence Reduction Workshops at Martin University. Submissions for these shows are reviewed on a rolling basis and evaluated by a panel of judges. Winning submissions receive cash prizes for their designs and a feature display in all printed and digital Disarm Hate, Arm Love galleries.
